A church stand at our local wedding fair

Burwash Manor March 2015We had an interesting day on Saturday, as colleagues and I set up and staffed a stand at the wedding open day at Burwash Manor.  Burwash Manor and their wedding venue ‘The Secret Garden’ is on the Lordsbridge patch so it seemed silly that the local churches were not represented alongside the cars, flowers, cakes and dresses.  We are in the wedding business too – though perhaps in a somewhat different way!

This particular event was also a good way of being present in the local community, and supporting a local business too!

We put together some great leaflets to hand out, and learned loads about the kind of conversation people want to have.  This was our first attempt.  I suspect we will do more.
